From GameSpot E3 Live, a developer states the following…
“What we’re trying to do is reenact how the characters do their moves, so if Goku uses his Kamehameha, then the player pulls the controller back and he stabs forward… and for the sphere bomb, you have to raise your hand up over your head and bring it down, and you’ll bring down the energy. It’ll be really fun to watch people play this.”
