During the week of E3 2006, all Xbox360 users had a one week free Xbox Live Gold pass, and it sure was used. Microsoft is reporting that over 1,5 million people connected and together downloaded over 5 million pieces of content.

“Only Xbox Live could bring E3 home in high definition for consumers around the world,” said Peter Moore

It wasn’t a suprise that the Halo 3 trailer was the most popular downlaod.
