Sony Says You Don’t Need A PC

Sony’s bad boy Phil Harrison, whom we mentioned quite a few times here, first announced the new controller as “innovative”. The he defended the high (PlayStation 3) price, saying it was too cheap. Now in an interview with German magazine Der Spiegel, he said the PS3 will do the same things as the PC, like websurfing etc. and that you wouldn’t need the PC.
“The PlayStation 3 is a computer”, Harrison is quoted as saying. “We do not need the PC.”
Oh really?
