The very first image of the Nintendo Wii SDK has appeared on the web. It shows a black Wii with black controllers.

Nintendo has previously showed only a white controller (http://wii.nintendo.com) that’s used for gaming - not SDK. Is there any other news about the SDK itself… besides color?

Color me skeptical - the label on the unit still says “Revolution”, so it probably wasn’t released recently.

They showed other colours of the wiimote and the console at the tgs. This is just another colour, get over it.

Of course it says Revolution. That is still the CODENAME. The cable coming out of the Wiimote is for power. It’s not battery powered cause you know it’s an sdk, you dont want to keep replacing while testing, developing games.
The hardware is going to be tag with Model No. of “RVL-###” (posted online)
like they did with Nintendo DS *NTR” and Gamecube “DOL”

Damn I’m so ready to get my hands on the Wii. I’m not even thinking about a PS3. I’m going to get a Wii and a 360 and call it a next-gen day.
