Major Gaming League Gets Broadcasted

USA Network, which reaches about 90 million cable TV subscribers, said in April that it would broadcast the entire season of tournaments produced by Major League Gaming (MLG), the four-year-old professional video game league.

They don’t mention however, how much USA Network paid to cover the league or how many events are going to be broadcasted. The goal of MLG is to get its name recognized among average TV viewers, just as World Poker Tour did a few years ago. The first tournament airs this fall.
