Bill Gates today has announced that in the year 2008, he will no longer be readily involved with Microsoft. Instead, he will be concentrating on the Bill & Linda Gates Foundation, which is a charity that concentrates on health and education. Although, he will still be an advisor, and company chairman. He will also work on “key development projects.” Who will take his throne? Well, Ray Ozzie (future chief software architec) and Craig Mundie (future chief research and strategy officer), of course! Steve Ballmer will still be the CEO, though. Geez, Bill, why not save some money for the rest of the fish?
