PlayStation 3 Will Support HDMI 1.3

If you have the $600 version, that is. The HDMI group, with Sony as one of the key members, have released the facts of HDMI version 1.3, which will offer twice the bandwidth of HDMI 1.1, from 4.95Gbps to 10.2Gbps. 1.3 will be backwards compatible with 1.1, in case you just got a brand new HDTV with HDMI. Another feature will be audio improvements such as Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD. The 1.3 version will be released with the PlayStation 3 in November.
