Superman Plays WoW

June 29th, 2006

You’d think that because they’re big Hollywood movie stars, they don’t have time for video games. Well, Robin Williams has been reported to play first person shooters, and massively multiplayer online role playing games. Dave Chappelle’s also been known to include video games in his show. Now, yet another movie star has admitted his love for video games, in the form of the addictive World of Warcraft game. Brandon Routh, the leading star of the latest Superman Returns, has told in an interview with Wizard Magazine, that he loves to play WoW.

“I just like that world. I love medieval time and swords and horses and that kind of thing. It’s fun to live that out, and I can play with some friends who also enjoy the game. It’s challenging and mentally engaging. It’s just fun.”

Unfortuneatly, there is no information regarding which realm he plays on nor what race. Could he really be playing WoW or was he just paid for promotion? Robin Williams has also been known to be clueless about the games he plays. Whether he does or doesn’t play WoW, even though it is completely believble, seeing how many subscribers the game has, we all know that famous people play video games, too. Or, in some cases, video gamers (Isai from Super Smash Bros. Melee) are famous, too!
