DS Lite Sells 200k In Europe

The first sale numbers about the DS Lite Euro launch have been released by Nintendo, and they show sales of over 200,000 units of the DS Lite during the first 10 days. That brings the total amount of DS consoles sold to over 5 million in Europe.
Nintendo has said that their aim at a broad demographic has paid off, marketing director Laurent Fisher says:
“Retailers across Europe said that they had never seen such a vast array of different people buying the product, everyone from business men to young women to grandfathers.”
