THQ has announced on its official German forums that the PS3 version of WWE Smackdown vs. Raw 07 has been cancelled. The PS3 version was scrapped because, as THQ puts it, “the development team would rather concentrate their resources on the three other platforms“.

THQ did mention that future games in the series will appear on the PS3, there just simply not enough time to create a PS3 version at the moment. Another example that the PS3 will most likely inherit PS2′s notorious recognition for being a very difficult platform for developers.
