Another PS3 Game Cancelled

THQ has announced on its official German forums that the PS3 version of WWE Smackdown vs. Raw 07 has been cancelled. The PS3 version was scrapped because, as THQ puts it, “the development team would rather concentrate their resources on the three other platforms“.
THQ did mention that future games in the series will appear on the PS3, there just simply not enough time to create a PS3 version at the moment. Another example that the PS3 will most likely inherit PS2’s notorious recognition for being a very difficult platform for developers.

I am SOOOO TIRED of Playstation 3 games getting either cancelled or delayed!!! This is CRAPPY!!! I am no longer interested in the Playstation 3!!!
Now that games like Fight Night Round 3, Grand Theft Auto 4, Unreal Tournament 2007, Devil May Cry 4, Silent Hill 5, Resident Evil 5, The Darkness, and so many others are now coming out on the Xbox 360–with better graphics!–I am definitely not going to consider the Playstation 3 until there has been a price drop! Especially when you consider that Metal Gear 4 won’t be out until Fall of 2007 and Final Fantasy XIII won’t be released until sometime in 2008! And those dates are assuming they don’t get “delayed” or cancelled!

i just did a little… checking up. it has NOT been cancelled at all, this is bullshit, its merely postponed. Because although they can get the graphics up for ps2 xbox etc, its highly unlikely they can make propper use of the ps3. Its merely been postponed 2007. Stil bugs me, but its not cancelled so thats ok (couldn’t stand playing smackdown on another system)

Ok listen, Ps3 is making Gta IV and resident Evil 5, so without the ps3, you wouldnt get to play them. Also, THERE IS NO GAME THATS ON THE XBOX 360 WITH BETTER GRAPHICS. I have the ps3, wii and xbox 360. SO, don’t say they have better graphics when ps3 only uses Blu-ray and the games haven’t released yet.
Please tell me how you know that the Xbox 360 has better graphics on games that are going to be later published and you havent played them yet.

Any of you nutsos ever hear of 128bit HDR lighting? Thought so! Fools, that’s one of the main things that is going to make the PS3 the PS3Peat champion for consoles! Only ONE!
Alliance will be the first game to actually have it fully enabled and active on PS3. Crysis is the game using it for PC. No game out right now has it running for any platform. The PS3 games out are only using 25% of the power of the Cell. The RSX unlike Zenos in X360 at over a year old, is fully enabled to run 128bit HDR Lighting like the new Nvidia 8800 graphics card.
Wow we have another Xsnot trolling with massive amounts of mis-information. Dude? UT2007 is not coming out for X360 and if it is, show us some proof! You can’t, so you won’t. Ain’t going to happen! Online you people would get killed by PC and PS3 popping you off right and left. So just forget about it.
BluRay is for games and movies! If you don’t have a PS3, SHUT the F**k UP!

whoever said that blu-ray is not used for the ps3 games your smoking crack coz all ps3 games are blu ray coz they wouldnt fit on the other format out….
PS. blu-ray holds 50-60 GB,HD dvd only 18 and seeing as xbox360 doesnt use HD dvd for games..all Xbox 360 games are small
