Ubsoft announced today their seven Wii launch titles, including the popular FPS Far Cry. The game will use the Wiimote to aim a weapon, just like in Red Steel, another Ubisoft launch title. The games announced are:

Red Steel
Blazing Angels: Squadrons of WWII
Rayman Raving Rabbids
Far Cry
Monster 4×4 World Circuit
Open Season
GT Pro Series

Many already know Red Steel, Far Cry, and Sonic. Among the new games are 2 racing games, Monster 4×4 and GT Pro Series, and a WWII plane sim Blazing Angels: Squadrons of WWII. Open Season is a game based on the upcoming CG movie by Sony Pictures. Ubisoft also said it has even more titles in development for the Wii.

Nintendo is gaining some serious 3rd party support at the moment, and they announced that another “big announcement” will be made at the Leipzig Games Convention.
