Spore To Go Multiplatform

Spore creator Will Wright says in a recent interview that he intends the game to be much more than a single PC game. They are working on a franchise, a series of games like The Sims. The console versions won’t be identical, since it’s quite hard to control RTS games using a gamepad. Wright says:
“It will probably take very different forms depending on the platforms. We might even pull out parts of the game – so you might be playing part of the game on a handheld platform, you might be playing the entire game but maybe more avatar-based on a console.”
By making it a “franchise”, it could be an indication of lots of upcoming Spore expansion packs, the same treat The Sims got.
