A few days ago, Ubisoft dropped the bomb by revealing seven Wii launch titles, including the popular FPS Far Cry. Ubisoft has once again secured its position as the number-one 3rd party developer for the Wii, by announcing Price of Persia for Nintendo’s upcoming console.

A spokesperson from Ubisoft confirmed the news to IGN, saying:

“I can confirm that a game based on the popular Prince of Persia franchise is one of many titles Ubisoft has in development for Nintendo’s Wii.”

“At this time we can not provide an official date for the game or any additional information about it.”

The spokesperson also said that the title missed last week’s list because it is not expected at launch. Ubisoft has previously confirmed that they have several other Wii titles in develoment, besides the announced seven. They will be showcasing several games for the Wii at this year’s Leipzig Games Convention.
