Sierra Entertainment, publishers of the excellent FPS F.E.A.R. have announced to day that the multiplayer part of the game will be available to the public as a free download, under the name F.E.A.R. Combat.

F.E.A.R. Combat is a complete multiplayer component of F.E.A.R., featuring all the recent updates, official maps and game modes. Users can play against players with the retail version of the game, as well as other Combat users. So in all, it’s a free multiplayer game.
