Earlier today, we reported about the upcoming free multiplayer version of F.E.A.R, now we’re hearing rumors that Ubisoft plans to port the shooter to Sony’s PlayStation 3. Already scheduled for a release on the Xbox360, and according to CVG, sources inside Ubisoft confirmed this to them (no press release), but revealed no further details.

Interestingly enough, CVG says “None of that’s confirmed of course“, while in the beginning of the article mentioning that “CVG can exclusively reveal…” Reveal what? A rumor?

It would be nice to see another great FPS using PS3′s power for a great gaming experience, but I doubt we’ll be seeing F.E.A.R. on the PS3 anytime sooner.
