No Spore Until Late 2007

Will Wright’s Spore (#3 on our Most Anticipated PC Games list) was a huge hit at this year’s E3, showing off some revolutionary gameplay mechanics, among other things.
In an interview with GameSpot, Wright revealed that the game will “almost certainly” not be released before July 2007. He simply said: “We’re saying the second half of next year [2007] for now.”
Wright previously said that Spore will be released on consoles as well, albeit with a few gameplay tweaks.
