seaman 2SEGA has revealed yesterday that they are currently working on a sequel to the infamous and bizarre game Dreamcast game, Seaman. Seaman 2 doesn’t have you talking and interacting with a virtual half-human half-fish pet, but a mini Neanderthal man. The story involves a species of these men being found in Peking China, and a company in Moscow taking their bones and using a factory to clone these mini-men. You receive one of these 3,000 clones as a pet.

At the SEGA press event in Tokyo, the game was introduced to everyone in the form of an infomercial. A Russian salesman is trying to sell you one of these little Neanderthals while showing you how they can benefit you in you life.

Of course, you will need a microphone to communicate with your pet. The game will bundle with a new PS2 controller with a built in microphone. Seaman 2 will release in Japan next year. No U.S. date has been announced.
