PS3 Passes FCC Test, Ready For Sale

Sony’s next-gen console has passed the Federal Communications Commission’s test, a test that all electronic hardware is required to pass, in order to be sold to the consumer.

The final CPU specs have also been revealed; The Cell chip will in fact run at 3,2 GHz. Many suspected it to run as low as 2,8 GHz due to manufacturing difficulties.
