Wii Officially Region Locked

Nintendo of America has confirmed that the Wii will be region locked for both first and third party games. Nintendo issued a statement saying “Wii will be region locked by territory”.
The whole issue started when Nintendo’s genius Perrin Kaplan made up the fact that the Wii will be region free, and then a Nintendo UK representative said Kaplan was wrong. At least now it’s official; you shouldn’t pre-order your Wii (or games) from other territories.

Baaah, bullshit story, it was already written in the stars that it would be. Don’t act all so surprised man. They can ask more money if they segegrate the wealthier from the less.. wtf just poor markets.

I will not use it its another usuless feature just like the stupid heavy rumble its crap.
PS3 is mainly for high def. gaming.

I like the rumble feature. I like when it rumbles when things blow up, or in car accidents (especially real ones)

Who cares about tilt i wanna play games with a normal pad( no stupid gimmick) and the hottest graphics with the best online best physics, more content ect.
and the rumble is overrated its annoying.

I think… taht wii is kinda overrated at this point. Well see how completely original and exhillerating the games will be. And then well see the masses buy ps3 once more. As they already did for eeehm .. dunno so long ago.
The sony always wins.. becuase they are japanese.. and they are smart supposedly. And nintendo is also japanese, however… they make games for the little japanese. So it isnt as cool in fact.
