On October 6th, 2006 in Uncategorized -

wiiWhile Sony is experiencing problems with the PS3 production, Nintendo’s Wii is ahead of production schedule by a rather large margin. According to International Business Times, over 2 million Wii consoles are already complete, and another 7-9 million are expected to be built in 2006.

This puts Nintendo well ahead to the announced 4 million consoles in 2006, and another 2 million before the end of March 2007. The new information means that Nintendo might end up with over up to 9 million consoles ready this year, compared to Sony’s 2,5 million PS3s.
