psstore.jpgSony has revealed new details about the PlayStaion Network (PNP) that will power PS3’s online features. According to Eurogamer, who’s had a chance to look at the system in details, the PNP will support multiple user accounts, compared to Xbox Live with only one account. In addition, there will be no monthly fees in order to play online or to browse the Internet. Unless certain MMO games require a monthly subscription fee.

PNP will use local currencies when you purchase new content, unlike Xbox Live or Nintendo Wii, with both using a points system instead. Browsing through content is said to be easier than on the Xbox360, and there’s also possible for games to have their own page with new downloadable content.

The PS3 will also support USB keyboards and mice out of the box. Webcams will also be supported for videochat. More info and full article here (Eurogamer).
