Sonic The Hedgehog Multiplayer Revealed

Sega of America has updated their official Sonic the Hedgehog website with new information about multi-player features. There will be two different modes, both supporting online play.
The first mode is called Tag Mode, where a player can play as Sonic or Shadow. The two must work together to collect as many Chaos Emeralds as they can. They also will be sharing lives together, so if your partner dies, it’s game over.
Battle Mode is the second multi-player mode, which involves two to four players. A mission is selected at random and players will obviously have to battle each other. Whoever has the most Gold Medals at the end of all of the missions, wins.
