Castlevania Movie Coming

Universal Pictures have decided to bring Castlevania to the big screen. Director Paul W.S. Anderson, who made Resident Evil, is directing the movie, with a projected budget of $50 million.
Castlevania will begin shooting in early 2007 in Hungary and Romania, under Universal’s Rogue label. The movie is co-financed and distributed by Crystal Sky Entertainment, who are also doing an adaptation of Tekken, the popular fighting game.
