According to Reuters, game makers a excited about the Wii, for its new controls, but also because development costs are only half of what’s required for Xbox360 and PS3. THQ said that a Wii game can be developed for as “little” as $5 million, compared to $15 or even $20 million for Xbox360 and PS3 games. According to developer Midway, the Wii uses the same tools as the GameCube, which makes everything easier, and thereby cheaper.
