On November 21st, 2006 in Uncategorized -

Bill O'ReillyIn a broadcast today, controversial icon Bill O’Reilly blamed video game consoles for the deterioration of American Society. O’Reilly went on, railing against games as a sort of drug and insulting the intelligence of gamers, saying gamers would be unable to hold down a job.
In one of O’Reilly’s more heated statements, he talks about the alternate reality of games,

“A large portion of the population, mostly… under the age of 45, who don’t deal with reality – ever. They don’t know what day it is… they don’t know what their neighbor looks like. They don’t know anything… because they are constantly diverted by a machine… it takes a person away from reality because they’ve created their own reality…”

Looks like Jack Thompson found himself an ally.
