On November 21st, 2006 in Uncategorized -

canadaAccording to Nintendo, the Wii launched successfully in Canada yesterday. One of Nintendo of Canada’s marketing managers, Farjad Iravani, claims that Canadian retailers are completely sold out of Wii’s. However, a few retailers may have some in stock that aren’t open on Sundays.

“There might be some scattered stores that have a couple of units here and there, but in terms of the national picture, we have sold through the Canadian allocation,”

Nintendo says that new shipments will start this week and will keep continuing, so they can reach the goal of four million consoles sold by the end of the holiday season.
