Console Sales On eBay

When gamers have no place else to go, they head to eBay to find the console of their choice, usually for a hefty price. Many people who lined up for consoles for days sold it online right after they received it. That makes eBay a fair ground for console sales. Here are the results of how many of each console has been sold on eBay since the launch of the PlayStation 3 on November 17th, 2006.
- Wii – 26,708 items sold (averaging $412.53)
- PS3 – 14,675 items sold (averaging $1,186.39)
- Xbox 360 – 331 items sold (averaging $420.62)
The Wii is leading in sales, for even less of the Xbox 360. The PS3′s price is overwhelming, roughly double the price of the premium model. It’s interesting to see how far gamers will go to get their system.
