In an release today, Codemasters have announced that their recently released MMORPG Archlord will be free of monthly subscriptions starting January 4th. The monthly fees will be replaced with other currently unannounced revenue methods (in-game ads, anyone?).

So, once again, if you don’t have money for monthly subscriptions, Archlord will be 100% free beyond the initial purchase price of $30 starting January 4th. The game was released earlier this September, and has received rather disappointing reviews.
