Wii Is The Fastest Selling Console In UK History

We recently reported that the Wii sold 50,000 units in 12 hours in the UK, now Nintendo has revealed that over 105,000 Wii consoles were sold that weekend, a new record. The previous record was last year when the Xbox 360 sold 70,000 on its launch weekend. To make things better for Nintendo, the DS Lite sold 110,000 units as well during the weekend. Zelda: Twilight Princess and Wii Play are the top selling games.
