Lawsuit Over Guitar Hero Settled

A little while back, there was a bout of suing and countersuing between Red Octane, the makers of Guitar Hero 2, and Ant Commandos, a company making third party guitar add-ons. Red Octane sued Ant Commandos for rights infringement on their popular Gibson SG brand of guitar controllers. Ant Commandos counter sued, claiming that Red Octane was violating their existing patents on technology for 3-button Guitar Freaks!
Today, both companies have reached a private agreement to end the case. The judge presiding over the case has officially dismissed it, and all is well in Guitar Hero land.
