Well, not from Sony, but you may have heard of or seen the white PS3 on eBay, which fetched a price of $1,425 on New Years Eve, at a time when most PS3′s were selling around the retail price. Seeing the positive reaction (read: profit) of his customized white PS3, maker Michal Berecki has announced his plans to work on a silver and red version.

The silver color will come out in the next few weeks with the red one following it. Sony has announced three color models of the PS3; black (the only one available now) silver, and white. I must say, if that red PS3 looks anything like that picture when it is finished, it might reach a record price on eBay.
