Lord Of The Rings RPG Cancelled?
January 5th, 2007 by Rajiv Ashrafi in News
Citing an anonymous source, 1UP is reporting that Lord of the Rings: White Council, the open-world RPG based on the Tolkien license, has been cancelled. Dubbed Project Gray Company until its unveiling last year, the game would have players participating in the battle for Middle-earth, though not as one of the main characters from the books.
No reason was given for the cancellation and EA, as expected, denied to comment on the report.

If you wanted to create such a game in the MIddle Earth universe, you’d need a talented team and a lot of time making it. EA doesn’t have talented developers and they’re too impatient.

I was not impressed with the preview shots anyways, same kinda fat undetailed WoW graphics.
