Lord Of The Rings: White Council Cancelled

Shacknews has an update to the rumor of the White Council cancellation that has been circling the Internet. A reputable source close to EA has confirmed the site that the project has indeed been cancelled, citing management issues, which resulted in an overall lack of development progress. As per the source, people working on the game have been reassigned to other projects; Steve Gray, the executive producer to the title, has been let go, too.
As usual, EA did not comment on this, though an official statement is expected sometime soon.
