Gears Of War Free Content Coming
January 8th, 2007 by Steve Reddish in News
Microsoft announced today that two new maps will be coming to Gears of War, alongside a regular patch. The maps, called Raven Down and Old Bones, will be released for the general public to download on January 11th. Raven Down takes place in a city surrounding a crashed Raven helicopter (think Black Hawk Down) , while Old Bones is set at a museum. The content is sponsored by the Discovery Channel, who will also be giving away over two million Xbox live marketplace points, all 400 point cards, over three days, the 13th-15th. The site www.readyaimfire.com will have more information on the promotion, although the site has not gone live as of this posting.

Sweet! It’s not like I’m tired of the 10 other maps in Gears of War, I don’t think I’ve actually played them all yet.
