Sony Ships 1 Million PS3s To NA

Sony announced that they have shipped 1 million PlayStation 3 consoles to North America during the six week launch window in 2006. Sony didn’t mention how many consoles were sold, but looking at all the available consoles in stores around the US, they certainly haven’t sold a million units.
Sony still promises to ship 6 million in total by March 2007. If there are consoles available now across the US, how many more will there be in a few months time?
