Bladestorm And Fatal Inertia Dated
Originally pegged as a PlayStation 3 launch title (and exclusive, too), Koei has finally announced Summer 2007 as the release period for Fatal Inertia, its futuristic high-speed racer. The publisher’s other ex-PS3-exclusive Bladestorm: The Hundred Years’ War will also be released this summer.
Both previously exclusive to the PS3 will now also ship for Xbox 360 and are part of Koei’s push into next-gen gaming. Fatal Inertia has players jumping into race crafts that travel at a high-speed, mixing “high-performance” street racing, rally and demolition derby into one package. Players will be able to customize their crafts; they will also have quite a few “unconventional” weapons at their disposal.
Bladestorm, set in the 14th century, is from the team behind the Samurai Warriors and Dynasty Warriors series. It has players taking on the role of legendary characters including Joan of Arc and Edward the Black Prince as players experience the drama of a war-torn Medieval Europe.
