DS Sells 10 Million In Europe

Nintendo has announced that the DS and DS Lite have sold over 10 million units combined in Europe. The portable console launched in March 2005, with the DS Lite launching a year later. This makes the DS the fastest selling console in Europe ever. In December alone, 1,5 million units were sold across Europe, making it the best selling console last holiday season.
On the software side, the best selling game is Nintendogs, with 5 million copies sold. Brain Age has sold 2 million to date, while New Super Mario Bros., Animal Crossing, Mario Kart DS, and Super Mario 64 have all sold over one million copies each.
