Blue Dragon Anime Announced

Mistwalker’s successful Xbox 360 RPG, Blue Dragon, is getting its own Anime television series in April. Hironobu Sakaguchi, Nobuo Uematsu and Akira Toriyama are all going to be involved with the series. The game was probably the only game Japan accepted as a true RPG published by Microsoft Game Studios. The Anime will have a different voice cast from the game, and will go up to 52 episodes. No word on if the series will be licensed into other countries. The US release of Blue Dragon is set for June.
