April 22nd, 2007

According to the latest announcement from Sierra, gamers will be able to take their tactical crime-busting skills with them on the bus. The publisher has announced SWAT: Target Liberty, a third-person tactical shooter game, for the PSP; it is being worked on by 3G Studios, and is set for release this Autumn.

Target Liberty, penned by The Shield scribe, Scott Rosenbaum, will be set in New York City where the SWAT is tasked with thwarting an ever increasing number of international terrorist threats. The game will feature an unique skill system, allowing the player to upgrade their individual combat expertise. It will also feature an ad-hoc multiplayer system featuring various modes.
