Silent Hill 5 Details Emerge
Silent Hill 5 details have been non-existent… until now. Famed Silent Hill designer Akira Yamaoka had an interview with the German version of GamePro in which he states the direction of the series. “At the moment I cannot reveal much detail on the story, or our progress, but I can tell you that this game will resemble Silent Hill 2 in the terms of the way the player is directed and the characters’ behavior,” he said.
As for the release platforms, he didn’t offer a definite platform but said that they are looking into doing it on the PS3 and Xbox 360, though “we [they] have had a good past experience with Playstation and we hope to continue that trend.”
Not much else was revealed, though he does mention that the game will not follow the same style as Silent Hill: Origins, the upcoming PSP version, but that it will take on a different style.
