Final Fantasy XI Expansion Coming
Even with the popularity of World of Warcraft increasing, Final Fantasy XI is still around, and will soon be getting another expansion pack. Titled Wings of the Goddess, the expansion is set for release this Winter and will be available for PC, PS2 and Xbox 360 in all territories.
Details on the expansion are rare at the moment, though the creators have released video displaying clues of what to expect.
In related news, series director Koichi Ogawa has stated that the game won’t be coming to the PS3, as it will take too long to port it to the console. He also mentions that subscriber levels are still around the half a million mark. “Currently only around ten or twenty people each month leave the game worldwide, and this is usually offset by newcomers.”
