Final Fantasy XIII – Not Until 2008

Don’t hold your breath for the title to appear later this year on PS3, because it won’t. While easily being the most anticipated title on the PS3, and something for that matter the console desperately needs, there seems to be no hope of receiving Final Fantasy anytime soon.
The financial advisor for Square Enix had this to say about the title, “It will still take a bit more time. At the very least, this fiscal year is definitely out of the question.” The fiscal year actually refers until up to the end of March 2008. Seeing as this is something Sony would probably want to have in the Holiday season, if I were a betting man I’d say 2008 late Fall. It could be worse, the PS3 could lose the exclusive altogether.
