SOE Fan Faire 2007 Announced
Registration for Sony Online Entertainment’s Fan Faire 2007 event has begun, allowing geeks of all shapes and sizes convene at the Las Vegas Rio Hotel from August 2-5 to partake in various activities such as groping scantily-clad booth babes, among other things. Described as the “the vacation destination of choice for players of SOE’s most popular games” (dear lord, don’t these people have a life!) and “filled with colorful costumes, passionate players and gigabytes of activity,” Fan Faire is “a real-life social event” that brings together the various online communities of SOE titles.
Those looking to attend the event will have to pay $89 for a three-day ticket; a one-day pass goes for $39. An annual SOE fixture, previous events have been held at Las Vegas and New Orleans, among other places.
The event will showcase various SOE games including Vanguard, EverQuest II, and others; SOE will also reveal a new game at the show.
