“Nudity” Reason Behind Halo 2 Delay

On May 25th, 2007 in Uncategorized -

Well, the game may have been delayed, but it is still available in stores. Wanna know the reason behind the delay? It seems Master Chief may have left his armor in some remote strip club: in a statement issued by Microsoft, the company said that an “unfortunate, obscure content error which includes partial nudity” was the culprit behind the delay of the 3 year old Xbox to PC port.

“As such, we have updated the initial game packaging at retailers with a label, so customers are aware before purchasing the game… This packaging will only be labeled for the initial run of games; subsequent shipments will not include the content.”

An online update has also been released for those who have already bought the game.

Shame on you Microsoft. You get so much time to port such an aging game to the PC, and you don’t even notice such “content errors” until it’s too late.
