“We’ll Shut Up the Critics” – Killzone Dev

On June 10th, 2007 in Uncategorized -

Remember the infamous Killzone PS3 trailer shown at E3 2005? Well, it’s almost two years now, and no information or media from the game was released, but that is about to change. According to this Killzone Unit interview with Guerilla Games, the game will be unveiled to the world at this year’s E3, which will be held next month.

When asked how they are feeling about the whole thing, Test Lead and QA Manager Sebastian Downie said: “Excitement with an underlying: “OH MY GOD WE ARE ALL GOING TO DIE!”

“I am sure there are a hundred developers around the globe feeling the same way right now though. Everyone wants their game to play look and sound perfectly when the public first get to see it. If you are working on an AAA Next Gen beast of a game or something for mobile phones you want to make a good impression on people. And if you have the baggage that we have we have to give it that extra little bit. Hopefully it will all go brilliantly and we’ll shut up even some of the most ardent critics.”

As for the game itself, he would not reveal anything, though he does mention that there will be a public beta which will be held later this year. Further information about the highly anticipated game will be known at E3.
