Developer Wizardly Engineering has announced that they’re developing Dragon’s Lair for the DS. Dragon’s Lair was originally released back in 1983 as an Arcade game, later on the NES, SNES and GameBoy Color. An updated 3D version was released back in 2002 on the PS2, Xbox, and GameCube.

The DS game will support all the basic features of the DS; touchscreen, dual-screen, stylus etc. IGN has an interview with Lead Engineer Hans Olesen, who gives a lot more information about the game. It’s scheduled for release later this year.
