T.Hawk and Sagat show their faces

June 29th, 2007

Great news fighting fans, for those of you crying for more Street Fighter art , last night Brian at the Capcom Blogs presented us with more art from the upcoming remake of their classic franchise, Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix. This time they are showing us some behind the scenes. Using Sagat’s frame we get a detailed explanation on how the visual update is being made , plus some insight on how the sprites behave on the Street Fighter’s 15 years old (and still kicking) engine. Also for the fans is a comparison shot between T.Hawk’s old and new sprites, Udon is making sure that all the characters look exactly like their latest comic book run. Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix is scheduled for release later this year as a downloadable game trough the Playstation Network for the PS3 and Xbox Live Arcade for the XBOX 360, suporting 1080p. Now, Let’s just hope that Capcom releases a arcade stick and 6-button controller for the Xbox360 and PS3.
