It really felt this year like Wii games making an appearance at 3rd party conferences were few and far between. At least new titles we haven’t heard about over and over again. Nitro Bikes was one of those fresh surprises we weren’t really expecting to get out of E3. It feels a lot like Excite Truck, which isn’t a bad thing and features online play to boot. I’m glad to see Ubisoft being a supporter of the Wii, but doesn’t it feel like they were so much more gung-ho for the console last year at E3? Red Steel was basically the focus of the show, and this year they’ve shifted to Assassin’s Creed and Haze, 360 and PS3 titles.
