Wii Sales Reach 3 Million In Japan

We recently reported about the PS3 reaching the 1 million units sold mark in Japan, now it’s Nintendo’s turn to show off with the numbers. According to Enterbrain, the same company that originally reported on the 1 million PS3 mark, Nintendo’s Wii has sold 3 million units in Japan so far – the handheld DS has sold more than 18 million. The Wii has been on the market since December last year, the DS has been in Japan since December 2005.
