The British can look forward to seeing US music star Pharrel Williams as the host to the launch party for Halo 3 on September 25. Pharrel will head to London’s BFI IMAX cinema (pictured to the right) where he and the members of the public will get the chance to explore the game, along with other major celebrities around Europe via Xbox Live.

The event will be a red carpet affair, which will be attended by VIPs, celebrities and competition winners. Similar events will take place in Paris, Madrid, Amsterdam and Milan, and will be linked via Xbox Live as the stars take each other on in multiplayer matches.

Stores across the UK and other countries will be open at midnight to sell Halo 3 to the unbelievably large number of gamers who are anticipating the release of the game with every breath.
